XSV have used pretty much every high-end marker there was last year. They were definitely the team that had the “gun of choiceâ€. They wanted a marker that worked for each and every player and they had the freedom to choose whatever they wanted.
At the NPPL San Diego Commanders Cup XSV tried a few of the first run of Eclipse Ego’s and were very impressed. Since then Planet Eclipse have been working alongside XSV to tweak the EGO to meet the very high demands of Pro paintball. And what better players to be working with, NPPL Runners up 2004 and players that had the ability to choose whatever they wanted in a marker.
The result is a sponsorship deal between XSV and Planet Eclipse for XSV to be shooting the Eclipse EGO marker along with the Eclipse Shaft Barrel system in the 2005 and 2006 season.
